What is the best way to experience the Emirates Melbourne Cup for the first time?
I have never been to the Melbourne Cup before and this year will be the first time me and my friends will actually be able to go. We would love to know what the best way to experience the cup is as I have looked on the website but there are just so many options from marquees to restuarants to just standing in the general area. Which one should I pick?
Well, I`d suggest not drinking too much so that you can remember the race. =P
But I`d pick the 1st floor seating, by the track, you don`t typically get a good view of the back stretch, but it`s more exciting when you see the horses coming around the turn and crossing the finish line, and you get a closer view!
As far as resteraunts go, I`d go with ur taste in food.
