I work as a resort cleaner, I often find unused food. Would you take it home?
I find things like tin soup, packaged foods,cooking oil, tea and coffee, sometimes fruit and vegetables. I usually take these things, but I throw out anything that has been used. Would you be worried that they may have been tampered with?
I am not on a low income at all, I make over a $1000 a week. Just saving for more holidays and a house too!
It is not stealing as my employer told me to take anything as a "job perk"
Well...my first reaction was, yuck! But really, if it's in tins or other types of unopened containers, then why not take it home? I would guess that people leave behind some pretty good stuff. Fruits and veggies, I think I'd throw away. There are some freaky people out there who might've used them for unintended purposes, if you get my meaning.
